WFH: Write from the Heart: A creative writing contest for REPH-ILO PEO employees with the theme: “Valuing What Matters: The REPH’s Work-From-Home Initiative”.
It is a writing contest where REPH employees can express their appreciation to the company through creative writing. It might be through poetry or personal essay.
This activity showcased the talents and skills of the PEO employees in writing and editorial. The judges were our Managers. Deadline of submission of creative pieces was last April 24, 2020, 12:00 noon. Contestants were not allowed to include their names in their entries. Only the POCs knew the names of the authors and entries were numbered randomly.
Announcement of winners was last May 1, 2020. The winners will get a chance to be featured in the PEO Communication Distro List and in this newsletter.
Seven entries were submitted. POCs compiled the entries naming them from “Entry 1” to “Entry 7”. It was then sent to Ms. Kara and Ms. Olet along with the scoring sheet for judging. Once the results were in, POCs tallied the scores to determine the winners:
1st Place: Renee Maxine Salcedo
2nd Place: Pamela Alberca
3rd Place: Shiela Mae Gomez
Prizes are to be claimed once we’re back to office operations.
