In many ways, Covid-19 changed the way the world looked at things. We were vastly caught unprepared for the snap adjustments we had to take to keep the business going. There are those who thrive on solitude and there are those who are unable to bear the extended length of restricted movement and access to the outside world. But the bitter truth all of us must face is that this pandemic humbled us to appreciate things we don’t normally value so.
But there are things that this pandemic will never ever be able to curb, that is the creativity and hunger of the PEOple. In the past, it was a charade of order this and take out that and only now do we realize what we truly are capable of. It is difficult to imagine a more grass-roots approach to culinary mastery than to start at home. Apparently, PEO has a lot of culinary talent just waiting to be plucked out of obscurity and into the open. And so, without further gilding the lily, I give to you the winners of The Covid-19 PEO QuaranMeals Barangay Ayuda Challenge 2020:
